Yes, students can choose to participate only in the Preliminary Round. Those who do can still earn medals and certificates based on their achievements.
11. Can parents accompany participants to the Global Round?
Yes, parents and guests are welcome. It is essential to provide their details in advance to ensure proper arrangements
12. Can I obtain a refund if I registered for the Preliminary Round but no longer wish to take the exam?
Once payment has been made for the Preliminary Round, it cannot be canceled, and refunds will not be provided.
13. What if I miss the registration deadline? Can I still take the exam?
Registration deadlines must be strictly adhered to. No applications beyond the deadline will be accepted.
14. In cases where candidates achieve identical scores, how is priority determined?
If two or more students achieve the same score, priority is given to the younger contestants. If their ages are identical, the time taken to complete the test is considered.
15. Can I take the exam in a language other than English if I'm not proficient in English?
The Brainiacs Olympiad does not assess English language proficiency. Exams are available in English, Russian, Spanish, and French.
16. Are certificates awarded by the Brainiacs Olympiad?
Yes, all participants receive a Certificate of Participation. A Certificate of Achievement is awarded based on individual accomplishments.
